Founded in 1870, Rheinfelder Bierhalle is one of Zurich’s oldest beer halls. Since its beginnings it has kept the same values of reasonably priced hearty foods and beer on tap. It is frequented by both the young and old, from students to civil servants, and the beer hall is always loud and lively, as beer halls should be. They offer traditional Swiss meals but Rheinfelder Bierhalle is known especially for its jumbo jumbo cordon bleu, which is proclaimed as the best and the largest cordon bleu in the city.
