Such a tasty and romantic time I had at Bambou! If you like flavourful and spicy food, please go and visit Bambou, you really won't regret it.
Plus, location wise, nicely located in the centre of Paris near all types of transport, there's no reason you cannot visit now!
Thai food, oh dear Thai food, I love you.
My food experience at Bambou restaurant was one to remember.
I tried the yellow fish curry, the famous Pad Thai, and sticky rice with mango as a dessert. Just yum; tons of flavour, cooked to perfection and just the right amount of spices.
I had to order extra rice to finish the curry sauce at the bottom of my plate. Do I feel guilty? Absolutely not!
Service was a bit slow and waiters were not 100% responsive, unfortunately.
Nonetheless, they kept smiling and answered our questions/needs when we had some.
If there's a way to describe the atmosphere at Bambou; dark and sexy.
The decoration is great; loved the furniture and all the plants found in the restaurant. It ideal for the amount of lighting that's in the restaurant.
I could even add that this atmosphere changes the taste of the food you eat, insane right?
To be honest, you can't really see much due to the very dim lighting (I went for the dinner service) but the table seemed clean!
The only issue was that when we finished our plates, they didn't really clean the tables which was a bit disturbing for the rest of the night...
The dishes were neat and very appealing, you just wanted to dig in.
Cool concept, I love myself a fancy Thai restaurant in the heart of Paris!
Bambou is not a cheap restaurant. The pad thai is 18€ and the curry is 22€. Nonetheless, you pay not only for the food but also for the atmosphere/setting! A pity the service does not follow 100%
