BRLO is a fantastic bar with a diverse range of craft beers and beer-food. It's summer garden with cozy benches, deck chairs and snacks is a great alternative to a classic German Biergarten, with the same functionality but hipsty and fashionable vibe
BRLO in Winter and BRLO in Summer are two different places :) Winter it's just a'la carte courses which are definitely should be paired with the beer, at least at some point f time. Ribs, sandwiches, burgers - can be served with plenty of vegetables and side dishes. I would say the food is great, but food is not what people coming here for.
In the summer you have a special vibe of a food festival - fast-food stands and beer everywhere!
Great service if we speak about people, but there are long queues in rush hours, especially in summer evenings. One more interesting thing is that some bartenders don't speak German - isn't it cosmopolitan? :)
Summer is a fantastic, a perfect place for pre-drinking before night outs or just chill after working day. Wintertime is more to enjoy new types of beers, which are broadenly represented in BRLO.
Outside can be dirty, because of the crowds in BRLO, the cleaning is pretty brief and quick - doesn't spoil atmosphere, but not the cleanest place.
BRLO is very hipsty - its a container outside and industrial inside, still when you sit you feel cozy because of nice accesoirs and pleasant light. Outside is fantastic, but depends on the weather. Special big like is for Live-Sports on a huge screen - WC-2018 was great there!
It's pretty central, Potsdamer Platz is 10 min walking. So the prices are ok if you take it into account. However for Berlin average prices are ~20% higher. Beer is 5 Euro minimum, although 3,50 is the normal price in the city, even street food is a bit expensive, reaching 6€ for a small noodle bowl. Still I find the pricing closer to 'fair' :)
