Food review

8.5

Successful restauranteur, Heinz Gindullis, serves up a uniquely electric restaurant that also draws on the beloved club scene in Berlin. The restaurant being almost hidden from street view, the experience begins before you have even entered. Be prepared for a fast passed atmosphere, fresh flavours and bold modern location design.

Must try

Service

8.3

Very fast passed service but friendly. Sometimes it's hard to get the attention of one staff member during peak times. Some staff members are very blunt with no real personality or friendliness which can be a little deterring

Atmosphere

8.7

Very unique location with an amazing entrance - can be very hard to find for the first time. Great to have an open kitchen that you walk past to enter/exit. DJ table and massive bar for after hours really makes the place distinct.

Cleanliness

9.0

Very clean. Nice organised coat area before entering the main dining room so there is not too much clutter.

Concept

8.0

Menu focuses mainly on vegan/vegetarian dishes with a few meat options as well. Awarded their first Michelin star in 2018 for creativity and innovative dishes.

Pricing

8.0

Some dishes are very highly priced (small steak is 60EUR) which is above the Berlin norms but other dishes are more fairly priced (most are sides). Good quality and sourcing of products but for the Berlin food scene it really is quiet pricey.
